Novel Technologies: A Process for You and Others
Presentation Outline:
Implementing new technology is often a struggle. Without a technical article, detailed blog post, or a video tutorial; how should we approach the unknown? What sorts of skills allow us to react quickly to an ever-changing set of demands and priorities? Jordan Carmona presents how the City of McKinney pursued two innovative solutions to an infrequent task: a downtown parking study. This discussion strikes a balance between the technical aspects of novel technologies and the human components dealing with communication, cooperation, and learning.
