We will be having a discussion about the work of URISA's Professional Education Committee (PEC). We will review the types of materials that we work on, the ways people can be involved, and the ways that we can assist all members of URISA. Judy Colby-George, GISP owns Spatial Alternatives, a GIS consulting firm in Yarmouth, Maine. Her firm works with multiple clients, mostly in the local, state and regional government sphere. She provides a full range of GIS services, but specializes in Public Participation GIS and working with clients to tell their stories using geospatial tools. She has been working with URISA since graduate school at University of Wisconsin in the early 1990s and currently serves on the URISA Board as well as PEC.
