The Texas811 Service Area Editor, An Open-Source, Web-Based GIS Interface

Presentation Outline:

Texas811 recently unveiled its implementation of the Service Area Editor, an open-source application designed by Progressive Partnering dedicated to managing the service areas of member utilities. This web-based interface allows utility providers, regardless of their GIS capabilities or experience, access to view and edit their data directly within the Texas811 system. It's even available in the field! We'll talk about how this system works and how our GIS team interacts with it, as well as some plans for the future of the application.
