Matthew Davis is a seasoned professional in urban enhancement, blending policy with technology to improve urban livability. With a background in urban design policy and a focus on socio-technical systems, he excels in policy development, open data software, and digital content architecture.
Matt has retained an active role in academia as a professor and program developer at the University of Waterloo’s School of Urban Planning, Mohawk College’s School of Building and Construction Sciences, and Conestoga College’s School of Workforce Development. His practical experience includes various GIS roles throughout south Florida and Ontario with a focus on smart city ecosystems.
